This Month as Told Through Ticker History
Behind every stock, business decision, CEO, company, and more – there’s a story. You know the dates and remember the headlines, but Bullish Studio’s Ticker History gives you the full scope of what happened on specific days in history.
Ticker History hit the ground running on Twitter back in February, and has quickly become the number one source of stock market archives across Twitter and Instagram. The account has produced nearly 17,000 tweets and grown to over 104,000 followers.
In an effort to expand coverage from solely a Twitter account to a multi-media video brand, Ticker History (@tickerhistory) partnered with historyinmemes, which has a following of over 1 million, to produce even more content and audience engagement on Instagram. How? Because this is just what we do here at Bullish Studio.
Ticker History has been rapidly gaining online traction since Eli Hren took over as Ticker History brand lead in 2022. We chatted with Eli to see what running a major social media account encompasses from day one:
“Prior to Ticker History, I had some experience on the internet of creating and posting content, but I began to realize the full scope of how to engage with an audience during that first month of February. One of my first tweets went viral, which shocked me. The account has grown from covering only historical content to telling the stories of companies, people, and the effects on their stock prices.”
He also explained the recent focus of his content and what was the driving force behind the shift, saying:
“Recently, I have been focused on providing a perspective of stock prices through the use of visualizing historical data. This has led me down the rabbit hole of all the different types of ways to visualize history, and how finance fits into that. Finance is mainly numbers, so I have been thinking of how to use these numbers to tell a broader story.”
And lastly, Eli gave helpful insight for fellow content creators looking to grow their platforms:
“In terms of growth, the best way to grow on any social site is to post quality content consistently. The engagement hacks don't work if your followers don't like the content you post.”
Now, let’s take a trip into the past and see what happened this month through the eyes of Ticker History:
Ticker History continues to cement their place as the hub of archived events. Over the course of July alone, Ticker History tweeted 210 times, reaching over 4 million impressions. Their top tweet alone from July has over 1 million impressions. Their content reach spans across the Twitter finance, stock market, and history communities.
