What He Learned This Year:
"My biggest learning for the year is that 'growth' businesses are way more cyclical than the secular case makes out. You have to be willing to constantly change your mind and integrate new information to succeed as an investor."
His 2023 Goal:
"My goal for 2023 is to keep making people laugh on Twitter and don’t blow up my trading account. Also, looking forward to another year where I don’t stick to any of my resolutions."
The Piece of Content He's Most Proud Of:
Parik got a reply from the new Twitter CEO himself! đź‘Ź

What She Learned This Year:
"In 2022, I learned that if you’ve built your content on who you are instead of what’s marketable, you have a lot more creative freedom. I love being able to talk about nonsense on the internet!"
Her 2023 Goal:
"What I’m looking forward to in 2023…… continuing to slay."
The Piece of Content She's Most Proud Of:
"My favorite piece of content from this year was my Bitcoin Miami coverage from the spring."
My met gala coverage! But instead of the met gala it’s Bitcoin miami and instead of asking about fashion I’m asking men about the last time they cried

What He Learned This Year:
In 2022, I learned to not be afraid to put yourself out there. I was hesitant to attach my face and likeness to the Cash Only brand at first because I thought audiences only cared about the public figures I featured. Turns out that the opposite is true: Take ownership of your project and attach your name and image to it, and it will feel more human, more personal, and more confident.
His 2023 Goal:
"In 2023, I’m most looking forward to documenting the NYC cannabis scene and industry at a time where it’s wild, unpredictable, full of stories, and on the precipice of a massive evolution."
The Piece of Content He's Most Proud Of:
"The video pieces where we covered DTLA’s wholesale cannabis packaging district (aka the epicenter of weed counterfeiting), and the tour of the Pizza Pusha’s weed nightclub. Both were unique stories that mixed idiosyncrasy and gravitas — plus they hadn’t been covered on camera prior!"
What He Learned This Year:
"In 2022, I learned that there is more demand now than ever for financial content on social media, especially social audio. Millions of people tuned into their first Twitter Space this year and I can't wait to see how those numbers grow next year!"
His 2023 Goal:
"I look forward to continuing to build my audience and connecting with fascinating people around the world in 2023. I would love to host a Space with Elon Musk as well!"
The Piece of Content He's Most Proud Of:
"My proudest piece of content is my most popular post ever, with 4 million impressions."
I’ve worked at Goldman Sachs and helped manage over $5.5B.

What He Learned This Year:
"What I learned in 2022 is that things happen really fast, and it’s important to seize the moment. Never take anything for granted."
His 2023 Goal:
"My goal for next year is to top 2022’s numbers all across the board!"
The Piece of Content He's Most Proud Of:
17-year-old Juliane Koepcke was sucked out of an airplane after it was struck by lightning in 1971. She fell 2 miles to the ground, was strapped to her seat, and survived 10 days in the Amazon Jungle.

What He Learned This Year:
"This year, I definitely learned the power of audio and video with Spaces. I think I am also slowly learning the power of quality over quantity. Cutting back a small % of the non-powerful content to let the really good stuff shine through."
His 2023 Goal:
"My real goal for next year is to double down on content, everything is about improving the quality of what I’m putting out. I want to focus on more video/audio content."
The Piece of Content He's Most Proud Of:
"The 2022 content that I’m most proud of are the FOMC and CPI Twitter Spaces, like this one below."
We’re live for Jerome Powell and FOMC
50BPs point incoming but we don’t know what Powell will say
